How to Use WhiteSmoke–Two Short Videos

Here are two short videos that I made to show some of WhiteSmoke’s main features: text correction and the online dictionary/thesaurus. One of the main issues with WhiteSmoke is whether you want the software to automatically make corrections for you or if you want to make them manually. I find that using the automatic correction feature (clicking the “Apply” button) often causes me to lose formatting codes in my text, so I usually make corrections myself, manually, after WhiteSmoke is finished analyzing my text. Of course if you are using simple text editor like Windows Notepad, there isn’t much formatting and this doesn’t matter as much.
